Responsibilities- Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for CCA and module assemblies.
- Interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with design engineering to implement production and process improvements.
- Support the production floor by working directly with operations and driving continuous improvement efforts.
- Design, procure, and implement tooling to support manufacturing processes.
- Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans as needed.
- Evaluate machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency and initiate corrective actions to address quality or performance issues.
- Provide engineering guidance on design concepts and specification requirements to optimize manufacturing methods and equipment utilization.
- Ensure all processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations and specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field required.
- AutoCAD
- Cable harness and wire harness print interpretation
- General assembly processes
- Strong blueprint and wire harness print reading skills.
- Experience with CCA assemblies and general assembly processes.
- Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT).
- Working knowledge of J-STD-001 standards.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
- Experience with cable harness manufacturing and process documentation (preferred).
