Position: PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR- 2nd Shift

Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift at Airborne Maintenance and Engineering Services.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Five (5) years in heavy aircraft maintenance, with at least two (2) in a supervisory role.
  • Valid Airframe & Powerplant license preferred; minimum of A License.
  • Prior FAA 145 Repair Station experience.
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints, technical orders, and test equipment.
  • Knowledge of aircraft components and systems.
  • Comfortable with computer software packages used in the facility.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and overtime.
  • Must successfully pass mechanical, structural, and avionics assessments.
Major Responsibilities
  • Ensure maintenance and documentation compliance.
  • Assign maintenance tasks and personnel.
  • Estimate maintenance time and cost.
  • Co‑sign with uncertified mechanics and provide oversight.
  • Sign repair station documents per authorized roster.
  • Coordinate maintenance plan with other departments.
  • Identify training needs and required tools/equipment.
  • Supervise work of un‑certified mechanics and unfamiliar personnel.
  • Provide on‑the‑job training to crew members.
  • Order parts and materials to maintain schedule.
  • Maintain daily turnover reports for each shift.
  • Maintain hangar and aircraft cleanliness.
Additional Duties

Perform all other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

Authority

Maintains authority over all activities of assigned work crew.

Physical Requirements
  • Knowledge of protective equipment usage and safety protocols related to dust, body fluids, radiation, chemicals, fumes, vapors, or mists.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials handling.
  • Knowledge of fall protection requirements.
  • Ability to withstand constant or intermittent loud/high noise levels.
  • Vision at 20 inches or less.
  • Vision at 20 feet or more.
  • Depth perception for judging distances.
