About the RoleBohler’s Tampa, FL office is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to review and strengthen the technical integrity of civil land development projects. In this role, you’ll conduct QA/QC reviews across grading, utilities, and stormwater systems to ensure constructability, compliance, and consistency. Working closely with design teams and project managers, you’ll help identify potential challenges early, refine design details, and enhance the quality of deliverables that shape Tampa Bay and Central Florida's growing communities.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Perform QA/QC reviews for design plans, reports, and technical documentation
- Evaluate constructability, safety features, and compliance with Bohler standards
- Complete design checklists and provide clear feedback to project teams
- Review stormwater, grading, and utility designs for technical accuracy
- Assist in construction administration by interpreting plans and resolving issues
- Partner with engineers to identify process improvements and enhance consistency
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement of internal QA/QC procedures
- A key role ensuring accuracy, consistency, and buildable design solutions

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in land development design and permitting
- Expertise in grading, stormwater management, and utility layout
- Strong attention to detail and passion for design quality
- Excellent communication skills for clear, constructive feedback
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
