Lead high-impact geotechnical projects, transforming complex subsurface conditions into innovative, practical solutions. Collaborate with clients and teams to deliver design and construction support.
What You’ll Do- Own project execution — from field exploration to laboratory testing, analysis, and final reporting.
- Drive design-stage success by performing critical evaluations (slope stability, shallow/deep foundations, pile capacity, wall systems, pavement design, and more).
- Support construction with field inspections and problem-solving during active build phases.
- Prepare technical proposals and detailed reports that meet client expectations and internal quality standards.
- Bring innovation to the table. Provide advanced, practical, and value-added engineering solutions.
- Maintain project excellence. Promote continuous quality checks and proactively resolve technical issues.
- Prioritize safety. Follow and promote all field and site safety protocols.
- Collaborate internally and externally. Communicate effectively with teammates, PMs, clients, and stakeholders.
- Respond to RFPs and contribute to the Company's growing geotechnical footprint.
- Stay flexible. Take on additional tasks as assigned by your department leader.
- MS or PhD in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of hands-on geotechnical project experience.
- Strong background in:
- Shallow and deep foundation analysis (bearing capacity, settlement, axial/lateral loading).
- Slope stability evaluations and wall foundation design.
- Pavement design and soil behavior assessments.
- Experience with geotechnical software: FB-Deep, LPILE, GRLWEAP, APILE, FB-Multipier, Geo Studio, etc.
- Previous work on heavy civil infrastructure projects (preferred but not required).
- Clear, confident communicator — both written and verbal.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
- Well-organized, efficient, and reliable — especially under pressure.
- Safety-first approach to fieldwork and design reviews.
- A team player who also thrives independently.
- PE license is highly preferred, or the ability to obtain one within a mutually agreed-upon timeframe.
- Active participation in professional engineering associations is a plus.
