In this role you will be part of the Mission Critical team based in Florida, working with a Fortune 500 client. You will manage mechanical design, equipment selection, and coordination with other disciplines to meet project milestones.

• CAD proficient with working CAD drawings.
• Prepare/Review calculations for loads.
• Thorough knowledge of codes.
• Edit specifications to reflect the project requirements.
• Develop equipment room sizes during SD and DD phases.
• Select and schedule equipment.
• Meet with vendors to determine specification requirements.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (MEP/FP, Arch, Struct, etc.).
• Respond to RFIs and review submittals.
• Solve installation problems.
• Apply risk‑management procedures daily to minimize exposure.
• Plan work and manage design process to meet project schedule.
• Deliver appropriate documentation and revisions (ASI, sketches).
• Lead and mentor Designer level staff.
• QA/QC reviews of calculations.
• Develop and monitor work plans with other PMs.
• Write studies and reports for systems.
• Perform sequence of operations for AHU, CHW, HW systems.
• Apply concepts of chilled water, hot water, steam, variable flow systems.
• Air‑side and hydronic system design and equipment selection.
• Understand psychometrics and energy concepts.
• Manage design and quality levels for multiple projects.

• 7+ years in project management / mechanical design.
• PE License.
• Professional engineering license and degree.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Preferred experience in data center, mission‑critical or telecom industry.
• Building design experience required.
