Job Description- Interface with customers and maintain construction supervision, commissioning, start‑up and performance testing of water & wastewater treatment equipment, evaporators, crystallizers, and thermal desalination systems supplied by Aquatech. Provide expertise in instrumentation calibration, PLC logic review, troubleshooting, and operating interface setup, while supervising plant operation and maintenance.
- Travel extensively—domestic and international—within the organization, acting as an ambassador to multinational clients. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage sites independently.
- Percent overnight travel: 50% to 75% of the calendar year.
- Possess a valid passport with ability to travel and stay extended overnight.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of engineering processes and standards required for the operation of water/wastewater treatment plants and technologies (thermal-based brine concentrators and crystallizers, ultrafiltration, de‑mineralization, reverse osmosis, ZLD, HERO) through coursework or experience.
- Perform commissioning, installation and operation of water and wastewater treatment systems.
- Communicate effectively with customers and maintain a positive attitude and good organizational skills.
- Plan and manage multiple tasks or projects.
- Apply common‑sense understanding to carry out instructions supplied verbally or in writing.
- Use a personal computer (MS Word & Excel) at a high level of proficiency.
- Maintain attention to detail.

Physical Job DemandsLifting, carrying, or moving 50 lbs; may need to climb ladders; cannot be afraid of heights; will need to wear personal protective equipment while on site. Involves sitting at a desk for extended periods and requires a high degree of concentration in a busy area.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in water treatment or related systems preferred; 2-3 years of experience in Allen‑Bradley PLCs Factory Talk HMIs or equivalent (e.g., Siemens PLCs).
