PositionSummary
We are hiring multiple Safety Managers across the Water Division (Tampa, Dallas, and San Antonio). Safety Managers will develop and implement site‑specific safety plans, conduct training sessions, lead audits and incident investigations, and ensure full compliance with OSHA/Cal‑OSHA and project‑specific requirements. These full‑time, on‑site roles are ideal for safety professionals seeking to advance their careers on high‑profile public infrastructure programs with long‑term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce jobsite safety programs per OSHA/Cal‑OSHA and project requirements.
- Lead orientations, toolbox talks, and recurring safety trainings.
- Oversee subcontractor compliance and verify documentation.
- Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, and corrective action follow‑up.
- Investigate incidents and drive close‑out of corrective actions.
- Manage emergency response planning and PPE oversight.
- Collaborate with project leadership to embed safety into planning and daily operations.
- Coordinate with owners and agencies (airport authority, DOT, water authorities) and support alternative delivery environments (design‑build/CMGC).
- Support flexible site schedules, including evening or weekend operations as needed.
- Conduct regular comprehensive audits and prepare weekly/monthly safety reports for project leadership.
- Support drug‑free workplace program requirements and injury case management as required by project protocols.
- Minimum of 3 years of safety experience required.
- 5+ years preferred for larger‑scale heavy civil projects.
- OSHA 30 required; OSHA Outreach Instructor preferred.
- CPR/First Aid Trainer strongly valued.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required for Dallas & San Antonio; strongly preferred for Tampa Water Division.
- Experience on union, multi‑subcontractor jobsites.
- Technical knowledge of excavation, trenching, fall protection, confined space, and crane/rigging.
- Strong leadership, documentation, and communication skills.
- BCSP credentials (CHST, CSP, ASP, GSP) preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Tampa, FL – Water Division (5 years minimum)
- San Antonio, TX – Water Division (3–5 years, bilingual preferred)
- Dallas, TX – Water Division (3–5 years, bilingual required)
Job Type: Full‑time
Pay: $96,000.00 - $ per year
