Electrical Technician

🕒 Full Time | Monday through Friday | 6:00 AM start

Are you an experienced Electrical Technician looking to grow your career in the fast-growing solar industry? A leading solar energy company is hiring skilled technicians to support service and maintenance operations across Florida. This is a hands-on role where you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain solar energy systems at residential and commercial sites.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on solar panels, inverters, string boxes, and system components
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues including power faults and system outages
• Support commissioning of solar arrays and monitoring systems
• Install battery storage and backup power systems
• Complete on site electrical wiring for solar systems including AC and DC work
• Conduct voltage testing safely using proper PPE and procedures
• Handle service documentation and RMA processes
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining system function and care

• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and solar or battery backup systems such as Enphase or LG
• Comfortable working at heights, on rooftops, ladders, and in confined spaces
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong mechanical and technical skills using hand, power, and diagnostic tools
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

• Competitive pay up to $35 per hour depending on location
