Duties & Responsibilities- Inspect landscape projects to ensure compliance with the contract documents.
- Produce photo‑documented reports.
- Maintain daily records and track work progress.
- Communicate professionally and interact with contractors and others.
- Identify construction deficiencies, evaluate corrective actions, and formulate responses.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other team members.
- Attend construction progress meetings.
- Green industry certifications - ISA, LIAF, FNGLA or ability to earn them.
- Knowledge of Florida plants and the Florida Grades and Standards for Nursery Plants.
- Current knowledge of landscape installation and maintenance procedures and horticultural practices.
- Working knowledge of irrigation systems.
- Knowledge of methods, tools and equipment used in the industry.
- Understanding of construction plans, specifications, and details.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ambition and commitment to producing excellence.
- Project management and adaptability to changing schedules.
- Ability to travel throughout Florida.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in a construction‑related field.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Ability to understand construction plans, specifications, and procedures.
- Demonstrated basic math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and communication.
- Team‑player who completes daily reports by hand and computer.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to pass and maintain required certifications.
