Middle School Social Studies Teacher - Christ the King
Christ the King Catholic School is seeking a full-time Middle School Social Studies Teacher for the school year
. Experience working with this age group and as part of a collaborative team of educators is preferred. In addition, candidates should be able to fulfill the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Integrate faith and prayer in both private and professional life

- Maintain required catechetical certifications
- Foster the development of the faith of the students both inside and out of the classroom

- Use school wide and classroom data to reflect on student understanding of the standards, content, process, and products of the curriculum
- Administer a variety of assessments for student learning that are formative, summative, authentic, project-based, and/or reflective
- Provide students with feedback that aligns to learning goals and impacts student achievement
- Use common assessments and rubrics to evaluate the quality of student work
- Collaborate with other faculty members in professional learning communities and grade level teams to monitor individual, classroom, and school wide learning/behavior
Ideal candidates should have experience in a classroom setting or a degree in education and possess strong collaboration and communication skills. This position includes full benefits, with the salary dependent on experience. All candidates must pass a Level II background screening before employment.
