Position Details
The Economics Department within the Sykes College of Business at the University of Tampa invites applications for a tenure‑track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor starting in Fall 2026.
Teaching load: three (3) four‑credit hour courses for a total of twelve hours per semester. Review of applications will begin on December 15, 2025.
Responsibilities include engaging in scholarly research activity that may involve undergraduates, advising students, and providing service to the department, college, university, and broader community.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
QualificationsApplicants must have a Ph.D. in Economics from an AACSB accredited institution prior to the start date. A demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence is required, as is an active research agenda. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching and research interests in macroeconomics, financial economics, or labor economics. Experience conducting and supervising research with undergraduate students is desirable.
