Overview
The Department of Management in the Sykes College of Business at The University of Tampa is seeking applications for part-time instructors to teach undergraduate and/or graduate management courses.
Responsibilities- Teach one or two course(s) per semester. Courses are approximately 4 hours each and usually taught in the evenings from 6:00 to 9:50 pm.
- Create syllabus for students each semester to include learning objectives consistent with the University and College of Business mission statement (course objectives and sample syllabi provided).
- Provide meeting time for students.
- Manage online learning management system, including training prior to first semester of teaching.
- A graduate degree with 18 hours in Management, Human Resource Management, or Industrial Psychology from an AACSB-accredited and/or top-ranked university; a Ph.D. in the field is preferred.
- Five years of full-time, professional experience over the last eight years preferred.
- Teaching experience preferred.
