Lower Division Pre-Kindergarten TeacherBerkeley Preparatory School is seeking a full-time Pre-Kindergarten teacher for the school year. The Pre-Kindergarten teacher will work collaboratively with a full-time instructional assistant to plan the instructional program and teach lessons to whole and small groups that are age-appropriate and address individual student needs.
Qualifications and experience
- 3-5 years of classroom teaching experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- Experience with the Workshop model, Shared Reading and Writing, Orton-Gillingham, and Singapore Math is beneficial
- Strong sense of humor, positive outlook, and appreciation for the unique qualities of this age group

The appointment is available August 2026 and is a full-time, salary, exempt position eligible for full benefits. The compensation package will be very competitive nationally and commensurate with experience, certification attainment, and the national independent school and college markets.
