Temp Summer Camp Counselor

USF’s Office of Youth Experiences provides engaging, creative, and inclusive opportunities for young people to explore new and innovative career paths. We offer an expanding variety of camps and other enriching experiences for elementary, middle, and high school students. The Office of Youth Experiences strives to promote the academic work of USF colleges and programs, assist with recruitment efforts, and collaborate with community stakeholders to provide better opportunities for underserved populations.

These camps focus on connecting children and families with the University of South Florida by providing experiences that are engaging and unique.

This position will serve as a counselor for various Office of Youth Experiences summer camps which include elementary, middle, and high school summer camp offerings, both face‑to‑face and virtual. Current camps include, but are not limited to:

• Tampa Theatre Film Camp
• CAGE Elementary Cyber Camp
• Everyone Can Code
• AFA Cyber Patriot Middle School Cyber Camp
• High School Cyber Camp
• Creative Writing
• The Art of Filmmaking
• JGHC Summer Institute:
  Mock Trial Intensive

This role is responsible for assisting with whole group instruction, working with a small group, managing student behaviors, and camp logistics.
