Admissions Representative; Tampa Campus

The Admissions Representative is responsible for all recruiting functions and for promoting NUC University as a school of choice to interested candidates.

Additionally, the Representative generates prospective inquiries by attending various events and ensuring candidates are properly informed about courses and choices.

• A completed Associate's degree or higher is required.
• All degrees must be from institutions accredited by regional or national accrediting bodies approved by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Foreign transcripts may be acceptable in some cases and require a translation and evaluation of equivalency to U.S. degrees by a recognized agency.
• Experience working in a metrics-driven or customer service environment.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt to new and rapidly changing situations.
• Ability to work extended hours (which will include evenings and Saturdays), in order to meet business objectives.

• Interview prospective students to determine interest in attending FTC.
• Use the phone to contact prospective students. Make at least 100 phone calls per day.
• Use multiple technologies to communicate with prospective students.
• Determine if the prospective student has the desire and qualifications to attend FTC.
• Meet or exceed the company’s conversion standards for Admissions.
• Organize and manage assigned leads generated through multiple sources.
• Communicate all details related to the particular program of interest to prospective students.
• Keep accurate records of calls made, interviews conducted, and enrollments generated.
• Recommend qualified prospective students for admission into FTC.
• Accurately complete all paperwork associated with the enrollment process.
• Request, track, and accurately document receipt of high school diplomas and GED transcripts
• Work with Registrar to determine if prospective student has the qualifications to attend.
