Purpose of the Position

The Admissions Advisor II plays a crucial role in meeting enrollment objectives by effectively promoting Ultimate Medical Academy (“UMA”)’s mission and benefits to prospective students through various communication methods. This position is responsible for positively engaging with prospective students, helping them determine whether UMA’s programs are a good fit, and ensuring they have the necessary information and resources to successfully enroll and complete their provisional enrollment period (PRP).

What

you’ll do
  • Community Engagement
    :
    Participate in on and off‑campus events, including evenings and weekends, to generate interest from prospective students.
  • Relationship Building
    :
    Develop and leverage relationships with community partners to establish brand recognition and training referrals.
  • Student Communication
    :
    Maintain communication with students to encourage referrals and promote continuing their educational journey.
  • Event Hosting
    :
    Host monthly on‑campus activities to generate student referrals and foster community relationships.
  • Inbound and Outbound Communication
    :
    Answer inbound contacts from various sources and complete outbound calls to maintain relationships with prospective and enrolled students.
  • Prospect Qualification
    :
    Determine prospective students' eligibility to attend UMA and set appointments for campus tours.
  • Follow‑Up
    :
    Follow up with prospective students in a timely and compliant manner according to best practices.
  • Database Management
    :
    Record all interactions and efforts to reach prospective students into the student database according to established organizational processes.
  • Interviewing and Rapport Building
    :
    Conduct interviews with prospective students to gauge their level of interest, desired area of study, and availability for attending school.
  • Campus Tours and Meet‑and‑Greets
    :
    Conduct campus tours and facilitate program director or instructor meet‑and‑greet and financial aid overviews.
  • Evaluation and Documentation
    :
    Evaluate prospective students based on their needs, interests, qualifications, and motivations, and complete all required paperwork and data entry accurately and timely.
  • Coordination and Communication
    :
    Coordinate with Enrollment Coordinators, Registrar, and others to ensure enrollment paperwork is processed accurately and maintain communication with students prior to start dates and throughout their first two weeks to ensure persistence and success.
  • Act as Resource for Peers
    :
    Provide information and troubleshooting for peers in Admission Advisor I position as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
