Position Summary:
The College of Nursing Graduate Programs office is seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable Student Assistant to provide administrative and program support. The Student Assistant will play a key role in supporting graduate program processes and ensuring timely and accurate handling of student and faculty requests.
This position will be for 20 hours a week at $15/hr.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Monitor the Graduate Programs inbox and respond to inquiries and requests in a timely manner
- Track Verification of Enrollment (VOE) requests using a shared spreadsheet to ensure accuracy and completion
- Create, organize, and maintain Box folders for request‑related documentation
- Complete graduate program forms using available Banner information, leaving unknown fields blank as appropriate
- Coordinate with Program Directors and Concentration Directors to complete and obtain signatures on forms by:
o Sending via Docu Sign, or
o Scheduling time for in person (wet) signatures - Submit completed forms through the appropriate channels via including email, mail, or online systems in accordance with program requirements.
- Assist the Academic Program Support team with HR‑related data entry tasks
- Assist with additional tasks to support academic program administration
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current USF student in good academic standing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior administrative or office experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning new systems (Banner, Box, Docu Sign)
