- Develop and maintain a strong, externally funded research program in bacterial pathogenesis, including antibiotic resistance, drug development, host‑microbe interaction, and omics approaches.
- Contribute to the education of undergraduate and graduate students.
- Collaborate with faculty across CAS and the wider USF campus.
