Position DetailsThe Department of Philosophy & Religion in the College of Arts and Letters at the University of Tampa invites applications for part‑time instructors in Religious Studies.
Responsibilities- Create syllabus and course‑related materials in accord with department guidelines for an academic REL‑205 World Religions course that is appropriate for a liberal arts curriculum at a non‑religiously affiliated private university.
- Teach course according to departmental guidelines.
- Provide meeting times outside of class.
- Administer a final exam during the University‑specified final exam period at the end of the semester.
- Complete course grading and submit final grades through the online system.
- A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Religious Studies or a related academic discipline.
- College teaching experience preferred.

Application InformationApplications for part‑time positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the department when openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a term‑by‑term basis which may include fall, spring and summer.
