Position DetailsThe Department of Sport Management in the College of Natural and Health Sciences at The University of Tampa invites applications for part‑time instructors in sport management.
Responsibilities- Teach one or more sport management course lecture sections meeting 3‑4 hours per week for a semester. The course textbook is selected in consultation with the full‑time sport management faculty.
- Assist students both in and out of the classroom.
- Create syllabi for students each semester using learning outcome guidelines provided by the department.
- Provide meeting time for students as needed.
- Administer and grade examinations and assignments.
- Manage online or paper grading system as needed.
- Adhere to all applicable department, college, and university policies and procedures.
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in sport management or a related field required.
- Previous experience in sport management required.
- Previous teaching experience in sport management preferred.
