Early Childhood Developmental Specialist
Salary will be up to $47,503 per year plus insurance and time‑off benefits.
Easterseals Florida is seeking a passionate, innovative, and dynamic Development Specialist to join our team of evaluators in Tampa. As a Development Specialist, you will work with a team of professionals to deliver early intervention services to families in their natural environment. Your primary responsibilities include completing clinic evaluations and conducting provider visits for children until age 5 or until their goals are met.
You will develop positive relationships with children and families and coach and share your knowledge and skills with families and other professionals.

- Complete eligibility evaluations for children referred by the Healthy Beginnings Entry Agency and determine eligibility for early intervention services.
- Complete assessments/evaluations of the child's health and developmental status and the family's educational and support needs.
- Use mediated learning strategies to support the family/caregiver and the child's interactions, including the family/caregiver in all aspects of service design and delivery.
- Complete evaluation reports and paperwork.
- Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university and one to two years of related experience and or training.
- Infant Toddler Development Specialist (ITDS) completed coursework; certification not required.
- Experience with standardized testing is a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Ability to meet program deadlines.
- Ability to meet approved driver qualifications and drive personal vehicle for program‑related business as required.
