Psychiatry Inpatient

Overview

Support inpatient psychiatry services at a new Tampa General Hospital (TGH) Behavioral Health Hospital. Provide inpatient clinical care and case management, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of geriatric and complex care patients as well as active-duty military populations in an inpatient ED setting.

• Provide inpatient psychiatry services and call coverage at Tampa General Behavioral Health Hospital, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Complete clinical documentation and other tasks as required.

• Minimum:
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency training program.
  • Eligibility or qualification for faculty appointment at the rank of assistant professor, associate, or professor.
  • Unrestricted Florida medical license or eligibility for one.
  • Credentialing with USF Health and Tampa General Hospital.
  • Inpatient psychiatry experience; experience with active-duty military is required for one position.
