Overview

The Johns Hopkins All Children’s Maternal/Fetal Neonatal Institute (MFNI), Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is seeking several board-certified/board-eligible obstetrician/gynecologists to join our dynamic, friendly group of clinicians who have served the area for over 20 years. Our new Ob-Gyns will be members of the JHACH Ob-Gyn team anchored in St. Petersburg but will be based at our brand-new practice site in nearby Trinity, Florida.

Located just 30 minutes north of Tampa, Trinity is a rapidly growing community in west Pasco County. HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is a 272-bed, state-of-the-art, all-private-room hospital serving Florida's tri-county area of Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough counties. There are over 1,500 deliveries annually (our Ob-Gyns will deliver at one hospital only). Trinity has an Ob-Gyn hospitalist program to assist in night, weekend, vacation and holiday call coverage.

Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (JHACH) has a strong physician presence in Pasco County including maternal-fetal medicine. JHACH is building a brand-new hospital in Pasco County and will be breaking ground this fall. When fully staffed, the JHACH practice in Trinity will have 4 Ob-Gyns. This is a unique opportunity to join an established Ob-Gyn group while playing a key role in building a new practice in a thriving region of Florida.

Although this is a clinically focused position, the Ob-Gyns in Trinity have the opportunity to be involved in teaching, including active participation in Ob-Gyn simulation training at the JHACH state-of-the-art Center for Medical Simulation and Innovative Education. Qualified candidates are eligible for an academic appointment at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Pasco County is one of the fastest growing counties in the United States yet has maintained an affordable cost of living. Residents enjoy a wide range of housing options, a designer golf course, an array of shopping and excellent schools. Trinity is only minutes from the beautiful Gulf beaches and is considered one of the best family communities in North Tampa.
