A. Haley Veterans Hospital, a nationally recognized VA facility in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Board Certified Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgeon to join our high-performing surgical team. This is an opportunity to serve Veterans while practicing in a major academic teaching hospital with access to advanced surgical technologies and a robust referral base.

• Full spectrum adult cardiac and thoracic surgery
• CABG, valve repair/replacement, aortic surgery
• Minimally invasive and robotic thoracic procedures
• Transcatheter valve therapies (TAVR)
• Redo cardiac operations
• On-call rotation (shared)

• MD/DO degree and completion of cardiothoracic surgery residency
• Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery
• Unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state
• U.S. Citizenship (required)

• Teaching opportunities with the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine
• Academic appointment and research participation encouraged but not required
