Florida Territory | ~50% Travel - Must be based in Tampa or Orlando area

We are partnered with a high-growth, PE-backed surgical device company that is transforming how surgeons work in the operating room. The organization is best known for its strong legacy presence in intraoperative visualization and is now entering a significant scale phase driven by an innovative robotic platform.

This is a build-and-grow territory role suited for a true hunter who thrives in high-acuity surgical environments and wants to play a meaningful role in the commercialization of next-generation OR technology.

Product Focus Robotic Suction & Irrigation (Primary Growth Platform)
  • Enables the console surgeon to control suction and irrigation directly
  • Reduces reliance on bedside assistants

  • Designed to scale alongside the growth of robotic surgery
Intraoperative Capital Systems (Established Install Base)
  • Highly entrenched legacy platform with strong surgeon loyalty
  • Drives recurring disposable revenue and cross-sell opportunities
What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Owning and growing a defined Florida territory across key hospital and health system accounts
  • Transitioning and retaining existing business while expanding footprint
  • Driving adoption of a robotic platform through clinical education and economic value selling
  • Maintaining strong operating room presence and surgeon credibility
  • Managing the full decision ecosystem:
  • Surgeon champions
  • OR leadership
  • Value Analysis Committees
  • Supply chain / materials management
  • Collaborating closely with robotic ecosystem partners and field counterparts
  • Operating as a strategic territory owner, not a transactional rep
Key Call Points
  • Robotic surgical specialties including urology, reconstructive, microvascular, general surgery, and others
  • OR leadership and hospital stakeholders involved in capital and disposable decisions
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • True hunter with a track record of new business development
  • 5+ years of surgical sales experience required
  • Proven ability to sell clinical value propositions and navigate complex hospital environments
  • Experience working in and around the operating room
  • Experience navigating VAC processes for both capital and disposables
  • Familiarity with suction/irrigation products strongly preferred
  • Vascular or robotic surgery exposure is a strong plus
  • Startup or scale-up experience highly valued
  • CRM experience preferred
