Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist – St. Joseph's Hospital, Tampa, FL

Bay Care Medical Group is seeking an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist to join our growing Heart Failure program eph’s Hospital, Tampa, FL.

• Join a team of Board‑Certified Advanced Heart Failure Physicians and specialty trained advanced practice providers led by Dr. Nirav Y. Raval, MD, FACC, Medical Director of the Heart and Vascular Institute.
• Provide consultation and longitudinal outpatient management of advanced heart failure patients, including evaluation of surgical options.
• Deliver outpatient longitudinal care through Bay Care HF Comprehensive Care Clinics at multiple hospital locations and participate in weekly systemwide HF rounds that connect inpatients to resources across the system.
• Lead the consultative inpatient service eph’s Hospital, managing patients with acute and durable mechanical support devices and serving as the system resource for shock, MCS, and organ transplant.
• Participate in program continuity and quality initiatives, including DNV certification for durable mechanical circulatory support.

• Completion of an Advanced Heart Failure Fellowship and board eligibility or board certification in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology and Cardiovascular Diseases.
• Ability to obtain a Florida medical license.
