Advent Health for Children and Advent Health Medical Group are looking for a dynamic and energetic full time Pediatric Surgery leader to join our team at Advent Health Tampa. This is a wonderful opportunity to continue to build on our strong practice with our network of hospitals in the Central Florida division. Responsibilities of the Medical Director will include programmatic development, clinical quality and performance improvement.

Call coverage at Advent Health Tampa with full time APP support (no trauma, no ECMO at Tampa). New physician will help grow the outpatient clinic practice and further develop relationships with community physicians with marketing support. Advent Health for Children has partnered with Advent Health Tampa with a vision to create and deliver high quality pediatric care elevating the local market and keeping kids close to home with a seamless connection to qua ternary services in Orlando.

Our pediatric surgery team based in Orlando will also provide some coverage to our full-time surgeon in Tampa. Requirements of the position :

Fellowship training in Pediatric Surgery

Board certification in Pediatric Surgery through American Board of Surgery

Broad surgical technical skills

Willingness to build the program

As part of Advent Health Tampa s collaboration with the Walt Disney Pavilion at Advent Health for Children, patients will have the support of a full service, tertiary children s hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, more than 30 peds ICU beds with a dedicated peds CICU, a 102 bed NICU, 17 bed pediatric emergency department and statewide pediatric network and transport system.
