Historic Hyde Park Dentistry is hiring a full-time front desk or office manager. We are a well-established, fee-for-service, high quality, true private practice located in South Tampa. We are an office that emphasizes patient relationships and education while allowing for a positive work-life balance.

Our office is all-digital and sees an average of 15 patients per day.

This is an opportunity for a long-term position with our team of exceptional, easy-to-work with dental professionals where you will be valued and supported.

The front desk manager/office manager will work directly with the practice owner/dentist. You will have the opportunity to be the first point of contact for the dental practice via phone/email and in-person.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming patients and stimulating new patient growth
  • Performing administrative tasks including:
    Ensuring forms are up to date, entering treatment plans and answering the phones and email
  • Scheduling patients:
    Understand the schedule and flow of the office and taking the initiative to keep things running smoothly.
  • Confidently presenting treatment plans, including high-value treatment plans
  • Collecting all fees up front on the day of service and posting payments accurately
  • Submitting insurance claims on the patient’s behalf. Patients will be reimbursed directly by their insurance company if any benefits apply. We are not in network with any insurance companies.
  • Preparing accurate financial reports
  • Maintaining patient satisfaction and rapport
  • Mitigating and resolving patient concerns
  • Assisting with marketing
  • Developing systems to stimulate and allow for office growth
Skills
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in dental software (Currently Eaglesoft, Vyne, Nex Health)
  • Knowledge of dental insurance
  • Proficiency in collections
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Able to work independently
