Commercial High-End Architectural Millwork Firm seeks an On‑Site Project Estimator. Applicant MUST have complete and thorough knowledge of the millwork/commercial industry and experience in estimating/bidding on millwork/cabinetry jobs. Do not apply if you are not experienced in millwork.
Primary function: first point of contact and representative for Curry Cabinetry, evaluating potential projects and creating detailed estimates based on information gathered from general contractors and related professionals. Additionally, develop and maintain relationships with general contractors and colleagues by following up to win contracts. Strong communication skills are valuable.
Responsibilities- Overall project evaluation, review, and bidding
- Follow up and pursue award of projects
- Provide technical direction
- Ensure bid compliance with quality standards
- Material evaluation, take-offs, and pricing
- Ability to multi‑task, stay organized, and communicate well
- Respond to project invitations, acquire pricing, read drawings
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.
5 years minimum direct Millwork experience including estimating.
