Building Envelope Consultant

This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Building Envelope Consultant located in Tampa, FL, with flexibility for some remote work. The consultant will be responsible for conducting site inspections, performing assessments of building envelopes, and analyzing their performance. Day‑to‑day tasks may include project planning, preparing detailed reports, developing solutions for weatherproofing challenges, and coordinating with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful implementation of recommendations.

• Proficiency in construction techniques and a solid understanding of building envelope systems and materials
• Experience in inspection, condition assessment, and evaluation of roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope components
• Competence in project planning, including creating and managing scopes of work, schedules, and resource allocation
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client interactions
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred
• Industry certifications such as RRC, RRO, or equivalent are advantageous
• Knowledge of building codes, standards, and best practices related to moisture control and weatherproofing is a plus
