Project Manager – Ground Up Commercial Construction

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of ground-up commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This individual ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Lead all phases of ground-up commercial construction projects
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and performance
• Coordinate communication between clients, architects, engineers, field teams, and subcontractors
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve risks
• Track costs, manage change orders, and maintain budget control
• Provide regular updates and reporting to leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality expectations
• Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented team environment focused on accountability and results

• 5+ years of experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and cost control
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
• Experience with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
