Civil Construction Estimator

We are actively inviting a highly skilled and experienced Lead Estimator to join our on- site Tampa Bay team, specializing in heavy civil infrastructure projects. This is a full-time on-site role for a Civil Construction Project Estimator/Manager located in Pinellas Park, FL. The successful candidate will excel in delivering precise and comprehensive cost estimates, driving bid strategy, and leading preconstruction planning to support complex infrastructure initiatives such as bridges, tunnels, highways, dams, and transit systems.

Day-to-day tasks include analyzing project specifications, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, and collaborating closely with team members to ensure successful project execution. The role also involves effective communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Proficiency in Cost Management and Budgeting
• Expertise in Construction Estimating and Project Estimation
• Lead and oversee the development of comprehensive, precise cost estimates for demanding heavy civil projects of significant scale and complexity.
• Thoroughly analyze contract documents, plans, specifications, and project requirements to ensure accuracy and completeness of each estimate.
• Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Experience with relevant software tools for estimating and project management
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in project estimation and construction management is an asset
