• Perform third‑party electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety building inspections.
• Inspect foundations, concrete slabs, framing, roofing and related construction activity.
• Conduct plan reviews, determine if permitted design plans may require revisions, and make recommendations to contractors, engineers and/or architects.
• Prepare and submit daily time and inspection/field reports in accordance with ECS policy.
• Market our services by maintaining and developing client interactions and participating in business development and marketing functions related to construction inspections.
• Follow ECS safety procedures and policies.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• NCP CCI commercial certification in mechanical, electrical and plumbing required.
• Certifications are required for all types of testing performed.
• Additional licenses or certifications may be required depending on the state in which you work.
• Extensive knowledge of state and local building code regulations, policies, and procedures.
• If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required.
