Position: Full Time Child Care Teacher

Overview

Bright Horizons at USAA is now hiring in Tampa, FL. Join Bright Horizons as a Teacher and help support children's growth while pursuing education opportunities with our CDA or college degree programs at no cost.

Position:
Full-time Infant/Toddler Teacher

Responsibilities
  • Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  • Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  • Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Qualifications
  • 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
  • 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
  • CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements.

Schedule and Compensation
  • Full-time hours: 9:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. (occasional varied schedule)
  • Hourly rate: $16.10 – $21.70 per hour, based on education and experience

Physical Requirements and Compliance

This position requires compliance with applicable immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training. You will work in person in an early education/preschool child care center to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services in accordance with Bright Horizons policies and applicable laws.
