About the Job:
The desired location for this position is NC, SC, GA and FL, residing in the Publix Geography.
The Sales Analyst, Publix, will proactively support the sales team in driving a key customer business at Publix through continuous analysis, reporting, and completion of necessary documentation. They will co-host weekly and monthly connect calls with key stakeholders. The individual will be responsible for pulling customer data, tracking results, and performing analyses that provide actionable insights to shape customer conversations. This role requires attention to detail to ensure timely and accurate input of sales and customer information into data systems.
The position will support the sales teams with administrative tasks, tool creation/enhancement, and business performance management.
- Gather data and perform analyses to support the sales team in managing the growing business
- Own the weekly data pull for the customer scorecard including volume, distribution, and bump charts
- Provide insights on customer portal data
- Deliver on ad hoc requests for additional sales needs regarding data pulls and presentation development
- Improve forecasting through development and maintenance of weekly customer forecast templates (trade and volume templates)
- Input information for sales teams into systems
- Support sales on submitting sales plans into trade management system across all categories
- Submit accurate and timely customer promotional contracts
- Input expected trade spend (total customer plan) for each promo into trade management system
- Support sales teams with administrative tasks
- Provide support within Publix Portal including contract development and new item submission
- Ensure deal actualization process
- Audit compliance and accuracy
- Provide Divisional Leadership with Monthly updates
- Utilize IRI and customer portal data to understand year-over-year changes in volume
- Summarize cause of change for key pack groups
- Analyst KPIs
- Using syndicated, panel, or customer data to analyze the business, understand trends, and provide a viewpoint on solutions
- Track account-level performance and provide CBM/Senior CBM with adjustment recommendations
- Own audit compliance at +90% accuracy
- Drive collaboration with deductions team and CBM in deduction resolution
- Assist with customer authorization reports and grids
The salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions. - Bachelors Degree
- 1+ years of work experience (within CPG preferred)
- Analytical skills and ability to analyze data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office — Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
- High degree of attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate leadership skills and eagerness to learn/grow in role
