Star Mountain Capital is a rapidly growing investment firm focused on the lower middle‑market U.S. businesses. This role invites a proactive Investor Relations Support professional to enhance the operations of our Business Development team.
Responsibilities- Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the Business Development team, including meeting scheduling, calendar management, and call preparation.
- Assist in maintaining and updating CRM systems; support data hygiene, tracking, and ongoing reporting.
- Help prepare materials for internal and external meetings, including presentations, briefing documents, and follow‑up communications.
- Coordinate with the Events Team on logistics, materials, and administrative tasks related to conferences, roadshows, and industry events.
- Support the onboarding and organization of new client and prospect information.
- Facilitate internal communication across teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and smooth departmental operations.
- Assist with special projects, research, and administrative tasks as assigned by senior team members.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of professional administrative experience, ideally in financial services, asset management, or a similar corporate environment.
- Superior technical aptitude and digital‑native comfort level essential for success in our highly tech‑enabled, fast‑paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and handling time‑sensitive requests.
- Strong customer service mindset and collaborative attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Timing:
Immediate.
Location: Tampa, Florida – required 5 days per week in office.
Office Model: In‑office collaboration and apprenticeship‑style learning for accelerated onboarding and integration.
Compensation: Salary based on qualifications, experience, and performance, with an annual discretionary bonus and other economics.
