As a Sr. Permit Coordinator, you are responsible for managing all facets of permitting. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.

Byers Engineering, a Mas Tec company, is seeking a full-time qualified Sr. Permit Coordinator. As a Sr. Permit Coordinator, you will manage all facets of permitting.

In addition, you will:

• Submit permit applications for construction projects
• Track and manage life cycles of permits to include change orders
• Interact with city, county, and state municipalities relating to permitting
• Have an understanding of permitting code and policy

About You:

• You have the ability to learn different city, county, and state permitting rules and guidelines
• You have an understanding of all phases of the permitting process
• Autocad or Microstation experience preferred
• You have at least 1-3 years of progressively challenging permitting and 1-3 years of professional experience working on FTTH (fiber to the home) projects.
• Must have experience working with Florida jurisdictions.
• Learn, or create, a system to track and manage multiple permits in various phases of progress
• You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom software
