AEVEX essas Aerospace seeks an experienced detail-oriented Subcontract Administrator to support multiple business units in a dynamic and fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This is a full‑time, on‑site position. The Subcontract Administrator works with AEVEX’s procurement team to support DoD programs and to assure compliance with applicable procedures, regulations and legal requirements including FAR/DFARs and International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR). The ideal candidate is a motivated self‑starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Candidates should have knowledge of various contract types, application of TINA and CAS, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Under limited supervision, the Subcontract Administrator is responsible for activities that span the entire procurement cycle, including negotiation of nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) and teaming agreements, preparation of solicitation packages for subcontractors, evaluation ofRSS proposals, price analysis, negotiation of terms and conditions, subcontract administration, issue resolution, and close‑out activities.

• Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
• Provide proposal support for multiple business units
• Source selection and identify suppliers
  
  ALIGN prospective vendors that meet company goals
• Maintain procurement parameters in the MRP system
• Support make‑vs‑buy recommendations consistent with the company strategy
• Develop sound, cost‑effective strategies for purchasing goods andծservices used across business units
• Maintain relationships with suppliers while scouting for new vendors
• Evaluate spending operations massimo seeking ways to improve product quality and timeliness of deliveries
• Communicate with management regularly regarding efficient flow of goods and services affecting production
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARs and ITAR
• Negotiate NDAs and teaming agreements including terms, conditions and pricing
• Create RFP solicitations in accordance with government and AEVEX requirements and ensure responses meet TINA requirements
• Evaluate supplier proposals and perform detailed proposal analyses for source selection
• Analyze risks and identify mitigation strategies
• Act as primary interface between subcontractors and supported programs for all subcontract‑related issues, interacting regularly with program management, contracts, project control, finance, and business development
• Administer subcontracts of various types (FFP/Cost‑type, etc.) and complexity, ensuring compliance with A Salmon procurement procedures and contractual obligations for price, delivery, quality, and performance
• Conduct cost analyses and set benchmarks for improvement
• Work closely with the legal department to ensure contracts and terms are favorable
• Guarantee supply‑chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
• Interface with Supply Chain Staff, Production, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Senior Level Management, Accounts Payable and Contracts as a key integral member of Integrated Product Teams (IPT)
• Perform other duties as required
