Position: Experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician

Overview

Atlantic Coast Enterprises is looking for experienced Auto Mechanics / Automotive Technicians in the Tampa, FL area to join our full-time team. This position offers a 5-day work week and opportunities to build a career in a company that values you and promotes a positive work culture.

We pay a competitive hourly rate (not flat rate) ranging from $18/hr to $24/hr depending on experience and certifications. Technician commissions are earned and paid out every 2 weeks and typically range from $400 to $1,400, with potential annual compensation above $100,000. Technicians can also earn one-time bonuses ($500 each) for certifications earned while a member of the company.

Day in the Life of an Experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician

As an experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician, you help strengthen our relationships with customers by properly maintaining and repairing their vehicles, and by providing fast, friendly service. You diagnose problems, explain options clearly, and perform the agreed-upon repairs. You also provide regular maintenance services to keep vehicles in top condition, delivering legendary customer service and making customers feel valued.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems and components
  • Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Maintain tools and work area in a safe, organized manner
  • Adhere to company policies and quality standards
Qualifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Current AATI or ASE certifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • Brake work experience
  • Have your own tools
