Pay or shift range: $18 USD to $28 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Volkswagen of North Tampa - proudly part of the Morgan Auto Group - is hiring auto technicians for their used car department! Multiple positions are available - must be able/willing to work on all makes and models. Diagnostic experience required! Whether you want to work 40 hours a week or 80 hours a week, we would like to talk to you!

Our shop has state-of-the-art equipment and AC! Come work with all the latest tools and equipment. We have a ton of used car volume!!

Pay for this position starts at $18-28 per hour based on experience & up to 100k per year
* Dual shifts with shift differential.

Job Responsibilities & Expectations:

• Perform used vehicle inspections, identify needed repairs and or safety concerns
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc
• Communicate directly with the Sales and Service Leadership teams if any additional service is needed
• Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Clearly and accurately document all work needed and performed

Job Requirements Include:

• Min 5 years experience working on all makes and models of cars and trucks.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Must have strong teamwork capabilities, Strong work ethic.
• Ase Certifications or brand certifications are ideal
