Position Highlights:
This position provides high-level administrative support to the inaugural Chair and the new Department of Translational Pathology. Responsibilities include managing complex schedules, organizing meetings and travel, and producing reports. The role requires sound judgment, discretion, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Administrative support experience, preferably in healthcare or research.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion with confidential information.
Responsibilities:
- Manage administrative services for the Chair/Program Leader.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Draft correspondence and manage expense reports.
- Coordinate conference room bookings and departmental events.
Credentials and
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least five years of administrative support experience, preferably in a healthcare or research setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
- Prior healthcare experience is a plus.
