Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and patient-focused Administrative Assistant to support the overall operations of our medical office. This role provides broad administrative and front‑office support, contributing to efficient clinic flow, accurate record management, and a positive experience for patients and staff. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with both clinical and administrative teams, assisting with scheduling, documentation, chart preparation, and insurance‑related processes.

The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

Additional Information

This position includes a 90‑day probationary period. A performance‑based wage increase may be considered upon successful completion of the probationary period, at the clinic’s discretion.

Responsibilities
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage calendars
  • Assist the front desk with filing and updating patient records
  • Prepare patient charts for the next day’s schedule
  • Learn and assist with submitting authorizations for procedures performed in the clinic
  • Maintain organized and confidential medical records
  • Support office and clinical staff with general administrative duties
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required;
    Associate’s degree preferred
  • Prior administrative or medical office experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook; EMR/EHR experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills
  • Professional, dependable, and patient‑centered demeanor
