Position Summary

This OPS Clerk position is in the Office of the Attorney General within the Civil Legal Services - Child Support Enforcement unit in Tampa, Florida.

Pay

$15.00 hourly

Qualifications

Six (6) months of secretarial or clerical work experience. Vocational/technical training in the area of secretarial science or office/business studies can substitute at the rate of 60 classroom hours for each month of the required work experience. A high school diploma or its equivalent can substitute for the required work experience.

The Work You Will Do
  • Maintain thorough working knowledge of agency and legal activities as well as child support program policies and procedures.
  • Use computers and related technology and software efficiently.
  • Scan and archive files to eliminate the physical files currently housed in our file room.
  • Perform miscellaneous office administration tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, e-filing, faxing, and delivering documents to partners.

  • Include supervisor names and phone numbers for all periods of employment.
  • Account for and explain any gaps in employment so that the hiring process is not delayed.
  • Experience, education, training, knowledge, skills and/or abilities as well as responses to pre-qualifying questions must be verifiable to meet the minimum qualifications.
