Compensation: $18 per hour

Ponton & Fernandez, Attorneys at Law, P.A. is a boutique immigration law firm based in the Tampa Bay Area, proudly serving our community with professionalism, compassion, and excellence. We are currently seeking a bilingual (English and Spanish) Lead Intake Specialist / Administrative Assistant to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for a highly organized, client-focused professional who enjoys being the first point of contact for prospective clients and supporting the administrative operations of a busy immigration law practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates clearly and empathetically, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Our office is located at 1082 Bloomingdale Ave, Suite A, Valrico, FL 33596
, and this is a full-time, on-site position
.
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective and existing clients, in both English and Spanish
- Conduct initial intake calls and accurately collect client information
- Screen and qualify leads and route matters appropriately within the firm
- Schedule consultations and manage attorney calendars
- Maintain and organize client records and intake documentation
Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry and file management - Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients throughout the intake process
- Coordinate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
- Native or fluent Spanish required (oral and written)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an intake, administrative, or client-facing role (law firm experience preferred but not required)
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn case management software
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
