What is the role?

As a Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the execution of client accounting operations. You’ll assist with month‑end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and day‑to‑day accounting functions while working closely with senior team members to ensure timely and meaningful financial information for clients.

This role is hands‑on, detail‑driven, and designed to build strong technical accounting foundations while developing business acumen.

What will you do?
  • Assist with month‑end close processes, including preparation of account reconciliations and journal entries
  • Maintain general ledger accuracy and supporting documentation
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages
  • Perform variance analysis and support budget tracking
  • Ensure accounting practices align with GAAP
  • Maintain organized and thorough documentation of processes and transactions
  • Support audit and tax engagements by preparing requested documentation
  • Collaborate with internal team members and client operational teams
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency through technology

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (required)
  • 2–4 years of accounting experience
  • Experience supporting multiple entities or clients preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to follow established processes and maintain documentation integrity
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
