Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. This is a contract position with an opportunity to permanent employment based on performance and business needs. Onsite role, working with a team and reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager.

Associate

• Invoicing & Billing: Generate and distribute accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.
• Payment Processing: Post daily cash receipts, including ACH, wire transfers, and checks; ensure all entries are applied to the correct accounts.
• Collections: Monitor aging reports and conduct professional outreach to clients regarding overdue balances.
• Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or payment variances by collaborating with the sales and operations teams.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of the AR sub‑ledger to the general ledger.
• Reporting: Prepare weekly aging summaries and status updates for the Finance Manager.

• Experience: 2+ years in Accounts Receivable or General Accounting.
• Education: High School Diploma required;
  Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance is a plus.
• Software Proficiency:
  
  Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, Quick Books, or Sage) and intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs).
