Ledgent is hiring a Staff Accountant - Tampa, FL

Full-Time | Hybrid options

$67,000 - $80,000

About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a fast-growing team in Tampa. You'll play a big part in supporting month-end close, and making sure our financial reporting is on point. This role directly supports the Controller and supporting accounting & finance team.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including revenue, accruals, reclasses, and allocation entries.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations for bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger accounts.
  • Support the month-end close process
  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, audit documentation, and internal control support.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with company policy and GAAP standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • One to three years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and the full accounting cycle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
