Staff Accountant
We are seeking a staff accountant to perform daily accounting tasks, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. This role works with the accounting manager and controller, provides audit support, and partners with cross‑functional departments to ensure accurate financial data. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of accounting experience, strong technical experience with ERP and Excel skills.

- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Create and reconcile accruals.
- Reconcile bank statements and balance‑sheet accounts.
- Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable.
- Create inter‑company entries and reconcile between entities.
- Support preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Perform variance analysis and research discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Assist with external audits and provide supporting documentation.
- Maintain fixed‑asset schedules and depreciation calculations.
- Support tax filings and regulatory reporting as needed.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred – Telecommunications industry a plus.
- CPA candidate or CPA license preferred.
Technical
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Net Suite, SAGE, QBO or similar ERP systems).
