Job – Accounts Payable Coordinator

Location:

Tampa, 33607 – This position is onsite

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Type:
Contract, leave coverage. May have opportunities for long term.

Schedule:

M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Job description:

Responsibilities

Manage all Accounts Payable functions with accuracy and timeliness, including PO creation, invoice processing, check distribution, and adherence to company policies and internal controls.

Support month-end close by meeting deadlines, ensuring AP balances are accurate, and reconciling insurance and patient refunds to the patient accounting system.

Record and maintain fixed assets and prepaid expenses accurately in accordance with accounting standards.

Process insurance and patient refunds, including importing refunds into the AP system and ensuring proper posting and reconciliation.

Support internal and external stakeholders by providing requested information and participating in special projects or tasks as assigned.

Medical/healthcare is a strong preference

Qualifications

Must have recent experience in Accounts Payable or Patient & Insurance Refund
Must have strong MS Excel skills
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Background check required
Drug screening required
