Senior Accountant-Bilingual; English​/Spanish

Our fast-growing and well-established company is seeking a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Tampa, FL. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing essential support for our financial operations.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledgers.
• Good understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
• Prepare accrual entries to comply with US GAAP.
• Maintain schedule for prepaid accounts and process amortization.
• Handle corporate credit card transactions between the 3rd party software and Quickbooks, and monthly credit card reconciliation.
• Conduct Pre-audit tasks across organizations in preparing consolidated financial statements.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial forecasting & budgeting support.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and payment.
• Manage the company's general ledger, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and assist in the analysis of financial reports, including budget variance analysis.
• Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist with audits, both internal and external, and provide necessary documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.

• Proficiency in Spanish is required
• Must be proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and accounting software such as Quick Books, MS Dynamics Business Central, or similar platforms.
• Financial Statements consolidation experience required.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• CPA, CMA or working towards CPA, CMA certification is a plus but not required.
• International accounting experience preferred
